My career has mostly been about fraud, payments, consumer credit and debt collection.
TrueML, Co-founder and CEO
My brother Nadav and I founded TrueAccord in 2013. Today TrueML includes TrueAccord and Retain. TrueAccord is a digital collection service built around machine learning. Retain makes the same technology available to creditors and collection companies.
We built Heartbeat, our patented decision engine for consumer engagement, and have raised nearly $150 million.
Boards and investing
I serve on the board of Sydecar and chair the Board of Governors at the British International School of Stockholm. I also make occasional restaurant investments.
Klarna, Chief Risk Officer
I led consumer-credit risk after Klarna acquired Analyzd in 2011. The job covered real-time underwriting across several billion dollars in annual payment volume.
Analyzd and Signifyd, Co-founder
I co-founded Analyzd to work on consumer-credit underwriting. Klarna acquired it in 2011. I also helped start Signifyd, which applies machine learning and behavioral analysis to ecommerce fraud.
PayPal and FraudSciences
I joined FraudSciences in 2005 and led fraud analytics. After PayPal acquired the company in 2008, I managed risk for digital goods, mobile payments, gaming and PayPalX.
Public service
I served on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Consumer Advisory Board and California DFPI’s Debt Collection Advisory Committee.
